Out of the blue, an idea came to me- unlike in many other OS, in antiX we can’t pin a window to the left or to the right, by dragging it. It’s true that we do have keyboard shortcuts for that… But I would like to present the idea for a different way to make the focused window tile to the left or right half of the screen, or to the top or bottom half of the screen…
A simple script that reads the coordinates of your mouse pointer and then “tile” the focused window near to the place that you alt + click: example:
if the user clicks in the, say 60 pixels in middle left part of the screen, the focused window takes up the left side of the screen, etc.

I came up with this because I have bad memory and can’, for the life of me, memorize the keybings…
If anyone else thinks this may be useful, I can try taking a stab at writing the script.

      I didn’t check on-line if a similar solution was ever implemented…

Let me think on that… Maybe think in Quadrants?

Not sure if you can tell what window was active if you click outside of it…

You could just pick the closest corner or side and run the wingrid to that direction.
