      Hey ya! Please improve the calendar, put events trigger when the days comes like thunderbird, but thunderbird needs to open to show an event. I wanted when I start my system, show events like: 10:30AM time to work! marked in calendar. Thanks in advance I think the community will appreciate!

        Use a different calendar app, like Lightning (Thunderbird Extension) and link the calendar button to it.
        Search “calendar apps for linux” and select one you like, see if it is in the repos and install.

          It seems lightning extension does not work with thunderbird newest version.
          I’ve installed gnome calendar but I would like to replace where the old one is it. How Do I do this?

            Control Centre > Desktop > Edit Icewm Settings > preferences tab
            In the preferences file, look for the line:

            # Command to run on clock
            ClockCommand="yad --calendar --mouse --close-on-unfocus --undecorated --skip-taskbar --button=gtk-ok:1"

            In my system, it is in line 638. Replace the command with the one you want for the calendar.
            For example

            # Command to run on clock
            ClockCommand="gnome-calendar"

            Or with whatever parameter you want.

              the icewm did not open. I’ve installed again in synaptic packager and nothing.

              did not find in app select as well.

              EDIT:
              can you say to me the path to edit this file?

                      Doesn’t matter. Use this command:
                      xdg-open $HOME/.icewm/preferences
                      And edit the file.

                            Angel7, when I have many problem situations with a system, and crazy things are happening, what I do is reinstall from scratch, and then one at a time, install and test each of the additional things I want to add. If at some point in that process, crazy things start happening, then I diagnose based on the theory that the last one added is the most likely cuplrit and try again without it.

                            It seems to me like you have the “crazy things happening” problems since the “repomania” episode, and I don’t think the crazy problems are being caused by antiX, because other people aren’t having those problems, too.

                              I looked in synaptic and found orage, osmo, evolution, remind if gnome-calendar doesn’t work well enough. I’m not sure what program would be best for you.

                              I would try search words like

                              calendar
                              appointment
                              organizer
                              alarm

                                About Calendar:
                                I found one with events, task and much more! it’s already my standard calendar. Thanks!

                                EDIT:
                                if you could say to me the name of packages of IceWM, JWM and Fluxbox will be good.

                                  ICEWM is already installed, and you are using it right now. What failed was the text editor called from the Control Centre, which is hardcoded to use geany. You have all icewm packages already installed, or you wouldn’t be able to use your system, as all your screenshots show you are using IceWM (Ice window manager) as you window manager.
