      the community will appreciate!

      gnome-calendar
      127MB ?!?
      Hahaha… No

      .

As a bonus (perverse) feature, gnome-calendar depends on geoclue and pings geolocation servers.
      Hi, Google. I’m home now.
Hi, Google, as you can see, I’m now riding on the bus…

Though most of us are frugal, each can enjoy more feature rich programs if we want, so no problem with angel7’s selection.

I agree that including this calendar app by default in antiX is not recommended.

For a more feature rich and frugal calendar, PPC developed a script calendar that does handle events (if anyone is interested in using it): https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/yad-calendar-proposed-update/

Dude I already did this so many times that I lost the counts! don’t you imagine.
          .
          About Calendar:
I found one with events, task and much more! it’s already my standard calendar. Thanks!

          EDIT:
if you could say to me the name of packages of IceWM, JWM and Fluxbox will be good.

Yes, angel7, I have probably installed Linux 5,000 times on my computers.. I have learned that I never lose as long as I don’t quit trying.

As long as you are happy with one and it works for you, that is what is important.

I mentioned Orage and Osmo and Evolution and others in my previous post. They are all in the repos and have alarms to tell you its time for an appointment.

I’m using Korganizer I think it needs 300M free space. But it’s very good!

              antiX comes with “lean” applications.

It’s ok to add the bigger ones if you like. Korganizer comes with KDE, so its installed it needs other KDE programs to come with it, and that’s why it was 300 mb to add.

Inspired by the conversation I wanted to try the very powerful claws mail V-calendar Plugin.
Result a very long remove list which would have destroyed much of my installation.
(reminded me of system D dependancy chaining)

@skidoo, thanks for info, anything pulling in geoclue is definitely not wanted on
as delivered users systems. For those with Firefox geolocation is also disabled in config.
Along with a few hundred other changes :-).

FI: I use the light calendar app: Orage (and few years ago Rainlandar, but obsolete or almost now) … *.ics files compatibility.
