Forum for users of antiX Linux. Mean and Lean and Proudly anti-fascist.
Hello anti,
I’m testing a conky that quotes:
“The impulse library creates a pulse audio connection context that reads the output stream from pulseaudio in a thread natively which can then be read from python.”
I have equipped four distributions with it. Only antiX denies me the cooperation. The error message in the Conky:
male@antix17:~
$ Conky: forked to background, pid is 7735
Conky: desktop window (4a8) is root window
Conky: window type - normal
Conky: drawing to created window (0x3800001)
Conky: drawing to double buffer
Connection failure: Connection refused
I’m standing on the hose and don’t know where to reach. Can you give me a hint about the authorization problem?
Thanks
pulseaudio is not installed by default on many/most antiX isos, so you may want to confirm you have pulseaudio installed.
