Tagged: firefox address bar font size
I stumbled upon this trick while fixing other GTK-3 styling / themeing issues. In Firefox, you can easily change the font-size of text in webpages, but there’s NO setting in Firefox to change the tiny font used in the address (URL) bar and menus! Anyway, here’s where and how to change it:
1) Edit (create if it doesn’t exist): /home/<your-username>/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini
2) Look for (or add or uncomment) a line like this: gtk-font-name=<fontname> <number>, ie. “gtk-font-name=Sans 8”
3) Change the number (and/or font name) to something larger, or more to your liking. I use “Sans 12”.
4) Restart Firefox.
