I don’t know whether we’re the best with runit, but from a practical perspective, our antiX runit implementation works,
so at least we’re the “best” within what we know well. We also have added maturity to our configuration so it is
effective. I’m using it now in an Alpha configuration and it’s rock solid, as is this effort.
So I concede, yeah, it’s pretty awesome and I’ve been using it a lot for a couple of years now.

What about rsyslogd? Is that not an essential service?
On runit, no. On sysVinit, probably yes.
Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.
antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.
