Forum › Forums › Official Releases › antiX-21/22 “Grup Yorum” › (solved) Install from live flash drive fails on USB hard drive
The problem appears to be caused by live antix mounting the target usb hard drive. After defining the root partition and proceeding to the next step,
the install fails because he system can’t make the required changes to the target disk because it is mounted.
Try booting live-usb and at F menus > F4 > Noautomount
Or if booting UEFI, Advanced Options > Boot Options > Noautomount
Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.
antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.
Thank you for the tip. Disabling automount solved the problem and I was able to complete the install
