      Sure it boots. I need a 36x spotting scope to see what I’m looking at……

        Have you tried the 4.19 version I suggested earlier in this thread?

        Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

        antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

          Intructions for changing resolution first and then fix the scale with Francisco’s commands. You don’t exactly need to see what is going on in screen. These are instructions for the blind.

          If you do boot to a gui environment, after booting simply do:
          1. Press Super (or windows key) to launch the icewm menu
          2. hit the Enter key to open a terminal.
          3. write
          arandr
          4. and hit Enter key
          A small program will launch. If you cannot see your mouse, it is ok. We will try to do things with the keyboard.
          5. Press Alt + o (as in holding the Alt key and pressing the o letter key). There should be a small popup menu appear.
          6. Press the RIGHT arrow key once, and the DOWN arrow key twice. A new submenu should appear beside the other one opened.
          7. Press the RIGHT arrow key again. Then press the UP arrow key once.
          8. Press Enter. Then press Enter again.
          Welcome to the smallest resolution supported. Now you can figure out the xrandr instructions. Worst case scenario is having to follow the above instructions again.

          If you are running with persistence, save the xrandr command to startup.

            @Xecure,

            Congratulations! Your tutorial for setting the resolution with keyboard commands for “blind” was excellent.

            I tested it and everything worked perfectly. Only what changes in the Brazilian Portuguese language is the “Alt + o” command, which in order to work must be with the “Alt + s” command.

            Another excellent content for the Wiki.

            Thank you.

            @Xecure,

            Meus parabéns! O seu tutorial para configuração da resolução com comandos de teclado para “cegos” ficou excelente.

            Eu o testei e tudo funcionou perfeitamente. Só o que muda em idioma Português do Brasil é o comando “Alt+o” que para funcionar tem que ser com o comando “Alt+s”.

            Mais um excelente conteúdo para a Wiki.

            Obrigado.

              Comrades, I have been using antix for a couple of days and found that everything is very fast and well-chosen applications.
              I always installed a bare system and then just fluxbox )))
              there is something to compare.
