      Hi,

I finaly decided to upgrade from 19.5 to 22….

I’m running into issues with the installer.
Doesn’t matter which option I use, Regular install using the entire disk or Customize the disk layout.
In the next step when the formatting starts it goes to 12% and then Roxfiler automounts the partitions, the partitions are in use and the format fails.
How to prevent Rox from automounting so the format succeeds?

      Regards,

      Marcel

If using legacy boot, F4 at boot menu choose noautomount.
Or if booted to desktop, Control Centre > Disks > Configure Automount to turn it off. Then open the installer.

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

Hi, this is not concerning automount, just a FYI: You can also upgrade, not a reinstall, using modifications of files in ‘/etc/apt/sources.list.d/’ so that they “point” to ‘bullseye’ instead of ‘buster’. Then run ‘sudo apt update’ to load updated packages (there will be plenty of them) and then run e.g. ‘sudo apt full-upgrade’ (carefully examine the information about packages to be removed!).
The version of antiX (displayed via ‘inxi’) will be kept the same to indicate which system you originally started with.
