      Could anyone explain how to install the FISH shell in AntiX? I’ve tried the generic Debian approach. Thanks.

        Post error messages and pertinent info on how you tried to install fish. Please.

          Here’s what I would expect should work. To install:
          sudo apt update
          sudo apt install fish

          on-demand, can launch by typing fish at command prompt

          To set fish as the default shell for your user account:
          $ chsh -s /usr/bin/fish
