      I’m using AntiX 17.4 32bit.
Otter-Browser is now in the stretch stable repository. (Thank you, Anticapitalista.)

However, I could not install it with Synaptic. The following dependencies are required.

      • libhunspell-1.7.0 (This installed okay using ‘apt’, but was not found by Synaptic in stretch stable, sid or testing repos.)

The next 3 are in the stretch stable repositories.

      • libqt5network5
      • libqt5multimedia5
      • libqt5xmlpatterns5

      However, the 3 above require

      • qtbase-abi-5-7-1 (Could not find with Synaptic in stretch stable, sid or testing.)
        ‘apt’ reports “no installation candidate”

So, the snag is the last item. Your thoughts appreciated.

I wonder if you can install an earlier version of otter-browser. Maybe the dependencies will be a little different? I’m not sure. Hopefully someone else who knows more about how this works can help.

I seem to remember installing otter-browser on antiX-17. But I am not near that machine right now. I will check when I get home.

            libhunspell-1.7.0

            antiX 17 = debian 9 stretch ?

i rebuild libhunspell-1.7.0 package from debian-10 on debian-9 but not tested yet.

            otter-browser v.0.9 launch on debian 9 on Pentium-3 (with out sse2)

i try build 1.0.02 himself but it want new Qt-5.9 (in debian 9 Qt-5.7)

but i want try run otter-browser_1.0.02-0.1~mx17+1_i386.deb from /MX-Linux/workspace/antix/stretch/pool/main/o/otter-browser/

i do not know worked v.1.0.02 on Pentium-3 or not but i want test it 🙂

otter-browser v.0.9 used webkit like midori and epiphany
But on my old computer (without sse2) all webkit browsers normal worked only with
              $export JavaScriptCoreUseJIT=0

otter-browser 0.9 work fine, but midori and epiphany freezed Xorg after some time (nvidia gf fx5xxx agp with nouveau driver)
