Recently I’ve encountered some issue using telegram and I’ve try a bunch of approaches to solve them.
This topic shows how I’ve manage to solve my problem, on antiX 21.
– Using Synaptic, search for “telegram” and select “telegram-desktop”.
– Five tabs opens just below (under the packages list) and tab 5 it’s called ‘Versions’, click it!
– An informative note tell how to select a version that should be forced for installation, rather than the default one: on menu-bar ‘Packages’-> ‘Force Version’
– Select the newest version you can find (despite [in my case] the change of repo: e.g. bullseye-backport on top stable) than click on ‘Force Version’ button.
– Click ‘Apply’
BTW you can select “telegram-destop” than press Ctrl+E
Good luck you all.
