I clicked on Menu Favorite apps, Applications, Systems, Synaptic package manager, user password, Ok, I clicked on the Reload option to update antiX, after the update I clicked search: hplip-gui, in the list it showed “hplip-gui” , I clicked with the right mouse button on the “hplip-gui”, Mark for installation, select To be installed, Mark, Apply. After the installation of “hplip” and “hplip-gui”, in the Menu Favorite applications, Applications, Graphics, Simple Scanning was able to detect the scanner, click on Scan to start, and to save the file, click on the icon with the arrow to low. In successful tests, it was possible to scan in “.pdf” and “.jpg” formats.

The only problem occurs when I click the “i” key on the physical keyboard or the virtual keyboard (onboard version 1.4.1-4) opens the Simple Scan 3.30.1.1 (Digitalização Simples in portuguese) program and the “i” key does not work in Geany or in the internet browser .

Could someone help me solve this little problem?

O texto abaixo, eu elaborei um dia após a instalação, infelizmente não possui todos os detalhes que eu costumo descrever:

Com o computador desconectado da internet, conectei o cabo USB da impressora no computador e liguei a impressora, Menu, Aplicações, Preferências, Configurações da Impressora, Adicionar, na coluna Dispositivos foi exibido a HP DeskJet 2135 com os dados do código da etiqueta, foi oferecido o teste de impressora, imprimiu 3 folhas, acredito eu que tenha sido devido ao tamanho da folha que estava configurado, alterei para o tamanho A4.

Instalação do Scanner da Impressora HP DeskJet lnk Advantage 2135 Print Scan Copy:
Cliquei em Menu Aplicativos favoritos, Aplicações, Sistemas, Gerenciador de pacotes Synaptic, senha de usuário, Ok, cliquei na opção Recarregar para atualizar o antiX, após a atualização cliquei em pesquisar: hplip-gui, na lista exibiu o “hplip-gui”, cliquei com o botão direito do mouse sobre o “hplip-gui”, Marcar para instalação, selecionar A ser instalado, Marcar, Aplicar. Após a instalação do “hplip” e do “hplip-gui”, no Menu Aplicativos favoritos, Aplicações, Gráficos, Digitalização Simples conseguiu detectar o scanner, clicar em Digitalizar para iniciar, e para salvar o arquivo, clicar no ícone com a seta para baixo. Nos testes realizados com sucesso foi possível digitalizar em formato “.pdf” e em “.jpg”.

O único problema ocorre quando clico na tecla “i” do teclado físico ou do teclado virtual (onboard versão 1.4.1-4) abre o programa Simple Scan 3.30.1.1 (Digitalização Simples em português) e a tecla “i” não funciona no Geany ou no navegador de internet.

Alguém poderia me ajudar a resolver este pequeno problema?

So, You install the printer correctly, you install the hplip-gui package correctly and scanning works, but when you have the program running the “i” key is “kidnaped” by the “Simple Scan” program?
Change the shortkeys for the program. It may have assigned the “i” key to something. Hit the “Hamburger menu” icon in the top right (three horizontal lines), click “Keyboard Shortcuts” and see if you can see the “i” key there.

This doesn’t happen to me in my tests, so maybe there is a different reason for this. See if changing the shortcuts helps. If it doesn’t, let us know and we will try to find a solution.

Thanks for the quick response and I’m sorry for taking so long to be able to send you the photo of the Simple Scan shortcut screen.

I noticed on the computer in the photo (Teclas_de_Atalhos_ Simple_Scan_13-09-2020.png) that you are the only one who received the installation of “hplip-gui” to be able to operate the HP DeskJet lnk Advantage 2135, the shortcut keys are identical to the shortcut keys of the other computers that also have antiX Linux installed, but that did not receive the installation of “hplip-gui”.

If you press the i key, Simple Scan opens, if you press the i key again, Simple Scan closes.

In the search (magnifying glass icon), from the Simple Scan shortcut screen, in the search text box, clicking with the mouse and typing the “i” key closes Simple Scan.

I searched the keys for shortcut keys in /home/Usuario/.icewm and found no specific command for the “i” key

If connecting a USB keyboard is the same with the “i” key, I got to suspect a keyboard problem, but using another one the problem continues.

Agradeço pela resposta rápida e me desculpe por demorar para conseguir te enviar a foto da tela de atalhos do Simple Scan.

Eu observei no computador da foto (Teclas_de_Atalhos_ Simple_Scan_13-09-2020.png) que é o único que recebeu a instalação do “hplip-gui” para poder operar a HP DeskJet lnk Advantage 2135, as teclas de atalho estão idênticas as teclas de atalhos dos outros computadores que também estão com o antiX Linux instalados, mas estes não receberam a instalação de “hplip-gui”.

Se pressionar a tecla i o Simple Scan abre, se pressionar novamente a tecla i o Simple Scan fecha.

Na busca (ícone da lupa), da tela de atalhos do Simple Scan, na caixa de texto de pesquisa, clicando com o mouse e digitando a tecla “i” faz fechar o Simple Scan.

Eu procurei nas teclas de atalho do keys em /home/Usuario/.icewm e não encontrei nenhum comando específico para a tecla “i”

Se conectar um teclado USB ocorre o mesmo com a tecla “i”, eu cheguei a desconfiar de problema no teclado, mas usando outro o problema continua.

This is a very strange case. When I have time I will install both hplip-gui and hplip and see if I can find an old hp printer to see if I can reproduce this.
