hello, I installed the base system on a 2008 Macbook. I’d like to add X and an AntiX graphical environment now. What’s the best way to do that? Thanks!

But you have written base, base includes X, I assume you meant antiX-core.

If you installed “core”, and need help installing X, my advice would be, install “base”, that, just like Caprea mentioned, already includes X. Why ask for help performing a task the dev team already did? But, hey, follow the instructions provided, if they fit your particular need for that device!
