      Hi guys, now installing a host over a new laptop: Asus Vivobook

      On the Screen Layout Editor (arandr) only appears one screen (default). Info was duplicated at two monitors

      Can’t use extended screen: for listing, I have two outputs :

      -> Monitor-1: eDP-1 (AU Optronics 0x05a7 res: 1920×1080).
      -> Monitor-2: HDMI-A-1 ( Samsung Odyssey G5 res: 2560×1440).

      Regards and thanks in advance.

        Hi. Did you boot in “Safe Video Mode”? Was the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf created?
        cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf
        Please check booting the live system in normal mode just to see if the inxi -Gaz remains the same. The driver should say “loaded: modesetting”, and not fbdev.

          Changed on /etc/X11/xorg.conf that was created previously, loaded: modesetting instead loaded: fbdev

          This is a new installation, I don’t know why this parameter was changed.

          Solved. Thanks
