Rambling post but some parts very revealing about how fathub wants to bind developers with payment models including
      Subscriptions.

Like you can not buy your coffee cup, you pay monthly with the excuse you can fund possible future development of a new
and better coffee cup, except the one you have is just fine for your purpose.

Seems fathub wants to be the next rotten fruit apple or Gargoyle Play imitation both of which are massive cash cows.
And try to force or coerce developers to use them exclusively

Now absolutely sure I will not use or support Fatcrap, ever…
Even to download and open a flatpack to check it out you must install flathub software,
apart from the fact opening a fatpack is non trivial. So a rouge dev or agency can drop
      fun things in the box.

I will Just continue as now to donate to projects I find helpful or important.

Epecialy some I use a lot, Brilliant antiX, which now powers everything except my gargoyle (goog)free phone.
Disroot, E mail and search. Net Guard, Fair Email Both non play store versions. Important with NetGuard as play
does not allow an inbuilt ad blocking possibility offered in NetGuard.
      Not to forget FDroid store.

Among others get repeated donations because I hope they will be still around for many years to come.

Zero interest in either Flathub or Snap.
Prefer.deb packages for Debian based systems.

Glad we have choices and other people who prefer other options have the freedom of choice.
