Hi,
I’m trying to use some proprietary software (Foxit-Reader) on my 32bit notebook but I always get$ FoxitReader [TimeStamp]-----main-----begin svn: r057d814 ################################################## ##############Foxit Reader Setup Log############## ################################################## [TimeStamp]-----CReader_AppEx::InitInstance()-----begin Ungültiger Maschinenbefehl/var/log/messages says:

If time and date are as far off as indicated that might be the cause of your issue. Fri Mar 24 17:15:57 EET 2017

Since everything installs in /opt .
Easy enough to remove it.
You can see if time stamp is screwed in it also . Rule out Fox it reader.

I did all updates on Antix 17 so far – I suppose this is newest version …

You have to install it manually.

I’ve installed it. But with this kernel Rox IceWM shows black screen for about 2 minutes after boot.
$ uname -a Linux antix1 4.9.212-antix.1-486-smp #1 SMP Sun Feb 2 16:12:37 EET 2020 i686 GNU/LinuxWith 5.5.0 it starts in normal speed, so I chose this.
The error remains the same …
