May i ask is it possible to install fglrx driver for amd in Antix 17 stable seams there is not in repositories and there is not an option under control center like mx 16 control center have?

The problem may be that fglrx-driver is not in the Stretch repos used by antiX-17 even though it is in the Jessie repos currently used by MX-16. Maybe someone else has a work-around. Have you tried using the sgfxi script to install the driver?

The sgfxi-script will only work for nvidia cards.
But there is ddm-mx from the mx-repos installed on antix 17

This maybe helps.
Maybe bitjam or someone else can confirm this.
