Hello Friends,
Is there a way to make spacefm NOT open a new tab when I click on any partition that is on the left panel?
(the partitions on the left panel is shown by clicking Devices -> Show Devices )
Thank you.
It is pretty simple.
Device > Settings > New Tab (untick)
antiX Live system enthusiast.
General Live Boot Parameters for antiX.
What do you expect should happen, instead, when you “click on any partition shown in the left panel” ?
Spacefm has a fine user manual: spacefm-manual-en.html
Off the top o’ my head, to avoid accidentally clicking/opening you could
1) drag-resize the left pane to a narrow sliver
2) entirely hide the left pane display
3) when interested in checking properties or for performing operations on left-pane listed items other than mounting, RIGHT-click the item label
In the spacefm user manual you can also read about the various settings you can apply via
Devices (toolbar button) }} Settings (flyout menu) }} Device Options (dialogbox)
