when building from antix 19.2 core with iceWM .. Can Thunar be used with iceWM or only with XFCE ?

In the face of quite capable file manager included with antiX (SpaceFM) the only purpose I tried Thunar was seamless detection and access of SMB network files.

Although Thunar installed just fine and worked for local files I was never able to make it work with network in antiX IceWM as it works with XFCE.
