I’d like to know if I can safely apt-get remove jwam and fluxbox. I’ll never use them and they are a waste of space.
Also, I was looking for my sources.list and I couldn’t find it. I used nano /etc/apt/sources.list but I got a blank file. Since antiX is a hybrid of Stretch and antiX, what command do i use to find it?
TIA, mizpa
I think you can remove fluxbox and jwm, but don’t expect to save much space. they are tiny. there themes take a little space but not much.
as to sources, look in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/, where there are now several *.list files.

Thanks D.O., so all I need to do is add the .d – appreciate the help. While I’m here, I wanted to ask. Is the MX manual something that will work with antiX17, or are they too different to match up? And if it will be useful, is there any way to make it a PDF? Thanks!
many things will apply, but a lot won’t too. for instance, mx has pulseaudio but antiX doesn’t ship with it, preferring to stick with alsa. and of course there is all the xfce stuff.
but the mx-manuals are all already in pdf format. https://mxlinux.org/manuals
and of course, the antiX-faq is here: http://download.tuxfamily.org/antix/docs-antiX-17/FAQ/index.html
