Using the mouse to scroll between applications on the jwm panel freezes jwm. I pressed reset button on pc whenever I had this issue until curiously finding it unfreezes after pressing Alt+F1 or Alt+F2, or using Alt+1 or Alt+2 to switch work spaces. During the freeze, the application that is open works, and you can move mouse, but the jwm panel does not work, and you can not switch applications.

Is this with rox-jwm or space-jwm?

I will try later to see if I can reproduce, but it is best if we know what antiX version and what desktop selection you have.

I think it is space jwm because I apt-get purged rox.

I just tried it again and I was not able to use the application that was open. Had to unfreeze using one of the above.

I have tried with different options and desktop icon managers, different themes, etc, but I cannot reproduce this behavior in a VM.
Tomorrow I will burn a 19.2.1 runit base (and install the liquorix kernel) on a USB stick and test again to see if this happens on real hardware with nothing else.
My main machine has too many development project going on, so no experiments there with different kernels for now.

Was it all working ok before you installed the liquorix kernel?
You could test by re-using the default kernel.

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

I am able to reproduce with linux-image-5.8.16-antix.1-amd64-smp. Sometimes it takes a lot of time and patience to reproduce. Sometimes it happens right away. I have a strange type of mouse which allows me to scroll very fast. It may be difficult to reproduce with a normal mouse.
