Just to be aware, an update to JWM, version 2.4.1 has been made available. Mostly some fixes and improvements.
I have not run into any issue with current antiX JWM, ver. 2.4.0, but it is nice to see JWM is being actively maintained…

For some reason I can’t get it to build on antiX-21 (bullseye)

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

Just want to gently touch base whether the new version of JWM is in plans for antiX repositories…
No issues with the current version whatsoever – rock solid and beautiful, but it is nice that new version is available…
              antiX + JWM rocks!

As I posted above. Nothing has changed.

                  Good news.
I managed to build jwm 2.4.2 on a bullseye/antiX-21 base.
                  Sent to repo-manager.
                  Should appear in repos soon.

Already in repo. Installed this latest and greatest WM. No issues.
To me JWM is the most elegant and robust one. Although antiX development has been focusing on adding tools for IceWM, such as toolbar maintenance, such maintenance for JWM is very simple editing JWM config. Likewise editing themes is relatively simple to make it pretty. So I do not miss these maintenance tools.
JWM is super well designed – simplicity and rock solid reliability. Great to see this new version…

Thanks @anti for your continued work for the benefit of antiX!

Thanks … I really like JWM too (but mostly for the menus, toolbar, prefoverride management, I prefer IceWM … still my favorite WM)

                          Just installed.
Everything works as expected (and this was expected too 🙂 )
                          Great! and thanks again!
