      Hi everyone,

      The Kazam shortcuts are not working in Antix 19.3. I particularly need the pause/resume recording shortcut which is the Window-Control-P sequence. It works fine in Debian Buster, but in Antix nothing happens. I’m not sure how to fix this… Any ideas?

      Sincerely,
      Lars.

        Have you tried editing the keys file for whatever window-manager you are using?

        Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

        antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

          Hi again,

          Sorry. I got this figured out. There is a configuration file in ~/.config/kazam which allows me to modify the keyboard shortcuts.

          Thanks for your suggestion.

          Lars.

            What worked here for me
            Edit as root the file /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/kazam/backend/config.py

            Change the part for the keyboard shortcuts, oddly enough, the super(Window) button is not listed there,so change every Shift to Super

             {"name": "keyboard_shortcuts",
                             "keys": {"pause":  "<Super><Control>p",
                                      "finish": "<Super><Control>f",
                                      "show":   "<Super><Control>s",
                                      "quit":   "<Super><Control>q",
                                      },

            Afterwards it’s working here with this key combination, Window-Control-p, you might have to press the p key twice.

            Edit:Just seen yo figured it out, nice
