Hi to all, I migrate from Ubuntu to antiX because Ubuntu leave 32 bits. I have a problem with KDE Connect, I can’t connect to my SAMSUNG GALAXY J5:

I open KDE App on my phone, and on my laptop with antiX 9 32 bits fresh install and default iceWM environment I put in terminal:

      kdeconnect-cli -l

      and appeare this:

KDE Connect not working on antiX 9

I try to follow this steps:

KDE connect cannot detect my phone
      https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=160294

But I can’t the way to solve this problem

I think is connman because in Ubuntu working fine KDEConnect but there is network-manager-gnome that run with “nm-applet”. Because this I uninstall connman and install network-manager-gnome, I add nm-appet to the startup of iceWM but Is not possible access to internet in antiX 9, the applet open and is possible to config the password of Wi-Fi and appear to be stablished connection but not working ever web page, because that I uninstall network-manager-gnome and install connman and I write this tutorial on my laptop for that reason, I can’t make working kdeconnect with antiX. Please help

Sounds like a mess to me. So I don’t know how to answer. So how about a

        inxi -Fxz -r

        report for starters.

        Edit; and a

        cat /etc/apt/preferences.d/00systemd

        also.

Since you don’t state how you installed anything. Edit. Just noticed this is a respin thread when I came back to fix my command line snafu.

Hi rokitnji, I run and this appear:

Thanks for the detailed reply. I just wanted to make sure your KDE install did not pull in any systemd stuff to complicate the issue here

As far as qt stuff and KDE stuff. I am clueless. Maybe dmesg might help, or not.

As far as how to’s go. Here is where I would have started.

            https://mxlinux.org/wiki/networking/kde-connect/

Finally I solve the problem, the cli version of kdeconnect not working, but the GUI version working fine, I found that in:

              inicio

This is a GUI version of KDEconnet that are in antiX 9 in repositories. I install it with:

              sudo apt-get install kdeconnect

Then when I clic in this and I open in my phone SAMSUNG GALAXY J5 I can to ping, and working fine

              I Add to startup:

              add autostart antix

put the next code for Linux 32 bits antiX 9:

              /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libexec/kdeconnectd &

              I put:

              adding startup IceWM

also put it in the terminal to pair pair, open in mobile KDE Connet and pair.

Then I can send a file with right clic in dolphin from Linux to Android:

              send to phone
