          kernel upstream ie Mr linuxgranddaddy Linus T hasn’t worked on fixing 32 bit kernels yet (as far as I am aware)

          And this is from Ubuntu.

          No fix is currently available for Meltdown on 32-bit x86; moving to a 64-bit kernel is the currently recommended mitigation.

            That’s kinda what I figured Anti. I don’t think many developers at kernel.org use 32-bit, but in the
            meantime I rebuilt my kernel now with the page poisoning and kernel-userspace mem hardening which might
            help a little. This little d610 machine can’t run 64-bit.
