::I have two scripts.
One that creates a .pot from translations_TEMPLATE.txt and uses it as template for creating all the .po files for each of the languages in the default theme (except English languages) and copies the translatiosn for each file and ads them to the .po.Another script that converts all .po files to the translated files that slimski can read.
So, after using Script1 to prepare all files for transifex, on the weekend I will download all slimski-theme .po files in transifex and convert them back to slimski readable files using script2.
That is what I was trying to explain to you yesterday. It takes time to create the scripts, test them and use them, and I wasted too much time doing other things.
Sorry for the delay.

::Following christophe’s instructions, I created a fake live-USB inside Virtualbox to test different things in antiX (mainly for bullseye beta1).
I realized that nothing I did when selecting the lang variable at boot worked to make slimski load that language for the slimski login screen.
Using your command
LANG=pt_BR.UTF-8 slimski -p default
does show the slimski log-in localized. But it didn’t read the lang variable properly from /proc/cmdline at boot-time.
I thought I solved this editing the init script, but I still got the same result. I then realized I had never checked on an installed system. I changed my language to es_ES (in /etc/default/locale) and rebooted and I still get slimski in English. What am I doing wrong?EDIT: I have default theme and autologin false in /etc/slimski.conf
On my physical computer with LANG=es_ES.UTF-8, slimski.log:envlang received as: en_US.UTF-8 slimski: waiting for X server to begin accepting connections .On the VM running antiX live (with boot parameter lang=pt_BR), I get:
envlang received as: pt_BR slimski: waiting for X server to begin accepting connections .But the login screen in both are not localized. Testing with slimski -p does work, but not the real slimsli daemon.
