Hey rokytnji,
I was kinda thinking that it might have something to do with age of hardware so I will use the 4.9.126 stretch kernel for a couple of weeks and then try the 4.18.7 stretch kernel as per your suggestion and see if I notice anything different.
As of present all is working well using the 4.9.126 stretch kernel but as always just curious.
