Tagged: Dillo
Ok, so I’m not going to use the Dillo browser for my banking. But I was pleased to see it being used as a lightweight html browser for antiX / Mx help and faq files seen on the desktop. I refer to it often.
But still, even though I may set antiX font-scaling to different values, Dillo could use some help for larger fonts when calling up those nifty docs.
Here’s how to fast-track those font size changes without becoming a total Dillo-head:
Just locate the dillorc file in your home directory hidden inside the .dillo directory and change the font-scaling to something you like. Just change it, open up your help/faq, and repeat until you find a size you like.
Here’s the relevant lines in dillorc and you just change one line:
/home/demo/.dillo/dillorc
# All font sizes are scaled by this value
# font_factor=1.5
# font_factor=1.1
font_factor=1.8
For my eyes and screen res, I simply cranked up the scaling in the dillorc file to 1.8
Adjust yours to taste.
