      https://gitlab.com/librewolf-community/browser/appimage/-/releases for details

      Direct download available under https://gitlab.com/api/v4/projects/24386000/packages/generic/librewolf/127.0-1/LibreWolf.x86_64.AppImage

      sha256sum https://gitlab.com/api/v4/projects/24386000/packages/generic/librewolf/127.0-1/LibreWolf.x86_64.AppImage.sha256

Despite upstream bugfixes recommend to remove browser features hidden screenshot extension.

To do so add ending .zip then unpack the appimage. Move to your preferred location, Make librewolf binary executable, if not done already create a starter, enjoy.

I found the following instruction on their site:

sudo apt update && sudo apt install -y wget gnupg lsb-release apt-transport-https ca-certificates
distro=$(if echo " una bookworm vanessa focal jammy bullseye vera uma " | grep -q " $(lsb_release -sc) "; then lsb_release -sc; else echo focal; fi)
        wget -O- https://deb.librewolf.net/keyring.gpg | sudo gpg --dearmor -o /usr/share/keyrings/librewolf.gpg
        sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/librewolf.sources << EOF > /dev/null
        Types: deb
        URIs: https://deb.librewolf.net
        Suites: $distro
        Components: main
        Architectures: amd64
        Signed-By: /usr/share/keyrings/librewolf.gpg
        EOF
        sudo apt update
        sudo apt install librewolf -y

What do you think of it?

          Hi orthodox42,
          Thanks for comments.
LibreWolf is available from the antiX package installer so setup is simpler for average user.

I was taught, One strategy to reduce exploit surface is to install browsers in an unusual place
          with an unusual name.
Posting on fresh release prompts at least some users I support to update both system and the browser.

Not best place for this discussion, I would have liked to modify the thread title, it is not possible.
