I can run “links2 -g” as root, but not as regular user.

Regular user is member of video.
      /dev/fb0 is owned by root:video

      gpm is running.

      I give up!

Have you tried running it via the option in antiX-cli-cc under Internet tools and apps?
I assume you are running core version live.

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

I will check this out. I’ve been trying to get my login prompt correct. I posted a separate question about that.

So far everything is working and talking, only remaining problems are login prompt is corrupt and possibly “links2 -g” not working. It works fine with a sudo prompt. My user account is a member of video group.

          Thanks,
