Really great stuff you’ve gathered together here. I do like it 🙂 Many thanks to all of you for posting.

My two cents, and not a “book” in literal sense of the word: stackoverflow.

The discussions about specific commandline or scripting problems containing pro and contra of different possibilities make it easy to understand why some line or command wouldn’t work even if you’d expect it to. This source can be used as a complement to the books found in the posts above.

      e.g. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/8779951/how-do-i-run-a-shell-script-without-using-sh-or-bash-commands

You’ll need to know about the basics already, and also to be skilled in research, using appropriate search terms.
      A startingpoint might be https://stackoverflow.com/search?q=bash+shell+script

Windows is like a submarine. Open a window and serious problems will start.
