hello
lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Debian
Description: Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye)
Release: 11
Codename: bullseye
Is it possible to put a username as a default
value at startup (it’s always empty) , so that I don’t have to type it manually every time I start the computer?
Thanks Martin
Please check antiX Control Center from Main Menu.
→ Choose “Maintenance” → “User management”
→ Tab “Settings”
from Section “User account to change“ select the appropriate user.
→ Section “Change autologin settings”
There you should find a checkbox allowing to activate autologin with or without password.
Another option is
→ Choose “Session” → “Logon manager”
This will allow you to select a default user with or without autologon.
Windows is like a submarine. Open a window and serious problems will start.
