Having just been made a moderator, I have found out why some of you are having trouble with losing posts.
If you put a raw URL in your post, it will be marked as spam by the forum software.

::Maybe, but I have a deleted post without an url. Thers a inxi -zF inside, but then the post went through.
It was deleted when I wanted to reply myself and editing it by marking as solved.
Funny thing is: You can still see it under “Latest posts”
Its on page three “Annoying beep on lenovo”
This all is really odd.Its nice you are helping , I hope you find the basic cause soon.October 31, 2017 at 10:29 am #1437Member

::It is best to leave threads like that intact, even though you have solved the problem, (& thanks for posting your solution), because others may find the solution by searching the forums. 🙂

It looks like raw URLs & large blocks of text without code tags are classed as spam by the forum software, this is what I have found so far.Just to clarify
There have been code-tags around the inxi -zF
The post went well and I could read it in the forum
Half an hour later I found the solution and wrote it as a reply.
I marked the topic as solved by adding it to the headline
There was no url or code in the reply
By clicking on sending it vanished completely from the forum,
but its still there under “Latest posts”If it was classed as spam then maybe it shouldnt appear there
