      Hi-

I installed the LTS 4.19.222 kernel from the Package Installer (twice) yet it installed a 5.10.57 kernel each time.

Any way to get the 4.19.222 LTS?

      Thanks.

You’ve brought up a good point. Installing the 4.19 LTS kernel from the PackageInstaller does not install 4.19 for me – it seems to just check to see if I have the 5.10 kernel installed and then exits.

Also, the descriptions of the 4.19 kernel in the PackageInstaller looks like the wrong versions listed. 4.19 is currently at version 4.19.202 in the antiX repo according to an apt search, not 4.19.222.

Yes, a fix is on its way to the repos.

            Thanks for reporting.

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

              Thanks andyprough-

Yes – I tried it again with the same result. Looked in Synaptic and not there either

I did not see the 5.10 kernel check when installing.

If there was more information about the Debian 4.19 on the bottom of the list, I would have installed that one, but might have to anyway – possible power management issues. Hope it actually is 4.19 when installed, if need be.
