      To keep antiX-22 LXDE free from systemd/elogind, users will have for forfeit the typical lxde logout menu since it is internally tied to systemd/elogind to get all the features such as reboot, halt, suspend etc.

      So how to install LXDE on antiX-22?

      sudo apt update && sudo apt install lxde consolekit libpam-ck-connector

      Logout and choose lxde via F1 at login menu.

      Edit ~/.config/lxpanel/LXDE/config so logout reads like this

      logout=desktop-session-exit

      Reboot.

      Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

      antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.
