      After some
      apt dist-upgrade
I’m missing the window bar of the lxterminal.

        gkt3 theme issue?

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

What gtk theme are you using? Maybe that is causing the problem. Are you running stretch, testing or sid?

I’m testing font size and colour in my reply, hope you don’t mind, male.

              😎 😎

I’ve already played with the themes.

              Theme is Arc-Dark
              stretch
              all updates

The only difference is: this one is in qemu and is not ok.(in siduction)

This effect does not appear on the HDD installation of antiX17.

FWIW, I checked: stretch, testing, and sid repositories currently contain the same lxterminal package version… and its bug page shows no similar reports.

From the screenshot, I can’t tell which WM is in use.
If it is fluxbox, you can wind up in that situation by toggling the window chrome for a window that has already been tagged “Remember” (titlebar context menu)
(each time a new instance of a matching class-ed window is opened, its chrome will be hidden).
Although you may not have knowingly/intentionally commanded “toggle chrome”, an unclean/abrupt closure of the window might have led to that result.
I would inspect the content of ~.fluxbox/apps to check whether it contains remembered specs for “lxterminal” window class. If it does, I would edit or delete the [lxterminal] stanza.

If it’s a different window manager, the condition might still have been caused “by accident (or glitch) ” if the wm provides a similar “Remember” feature.

“The only difference is: this one is in qemu and is not ok.(in siduction)”

                oh.
                just noticed that “little detail”.
Maybe, just MAYBE that should have mentioned at the outset, eh?
male! QEMU is a wildcard variable that prospective help responders should not be expected to guess!
                And
Is this topic even appropriate for placement within antiX-17 “Heather Heyer” subforum?

@anticapitalistaI would really appreciate A PM on how you achieved this. Many of my attempts carried out in the Site Help forum have failed.

I have an immediate use for those and this (particularly the colour setting) hence my experiments in the other forum.

In Lxterminal: right click inside terminal, select Preferences, select Display tab, check if ‘Hide Toolbar’ is ticked, if so untick it. You can also edit relevant config file direct.

                      @skidoo,
                      I don’t know what you got. 🙂

desktop fluxbox can be seen on the picture
the VM qemu can be seen on the picture

Nevertheless, thanks for the push in the right direction.~.fluxbox/apps

@greywolf, thank you very much 🙂
