Manual WiFi Connect works How get Auto Connect

Control Center –> Network –> WiFi Connect works fine.

But how can I set up an automatic connect to an ‘Automatically Connect’ Network as part of startup after boot?

If you click the gear on the connection you want to autoconnect, there is an on/off switch for autoconnect at the top.

After that it should “just work”

For to answer this question, we need to know which version of antiX you have installed. The pictures from above refer to antiX 19.beta.
So may post the output from
inxi -Fxz

If you are usng antiX17 the wicd-daemon probably doesn’t autostart.
It’s easily fixed.

antiX 19 uses Connman and antiX 17 Wicd.

BobC showed you Connman settings.

For Wicd WiFi auto-connect, you can check if this helps:
