Just a word to the wise, Ubuntu is neither Debian nor MX, FWIW

I Installed

harry@biker:~
$ cd /opt
harry@biker:/opt
$ ls
master-pdf-editor-5
harry@biker:/opt
$ cd master-pdf-editor-5
harry@biker:/opt/master-pdf-editor-5
$ ls
fonts  license.txt       masterpdfeditor5.png  templates
lang   masterpdfeditor5  stamps
harry@biker:/opt/master-pdf-editor-5
$
