Sure. I will see if I can figure out what I am testing right now, and upload it to gitlab.

::Hello Xecure.
I have now implemented the change:
“O estado do item do menu não é conhecido. Você poderá escolher uma das opções ‘Ocultar’ ou ‘Exibir’ na próxima vez que iniciar o Gerenciador do Menu”
I hope you download the file “for_use_antix-contribs_menu_managersh_pt_BR.po” after my latest edit. The text had the support of two other people in the unofficial Telegram MX Linux BR group, we followed their explanations and Robin’s suggestion to get to the text above. Clarity in information also serves as inclusion because they share knowledge, and this Xecure, you do every day here on the forum I am extremely grateful for that. Just don’t learn from you who doesn’t want to learn.
Thanks for all translations.
I’m the one who has to thank you for all your efforts in creating antiX media and antiX programs receiving the ability to be translated.
@Marcelocripe- please check my localization for typos, and do see the translation options I made
A: PPC, I don’t think there’s enough time, Xecure is much faster. (lots of laughter)
Also completely off topic- @Xecure- zzzfm’s ptpt localization had a couple of problems that I fixed- is it possible to include the updated translation in zzzfm’s package?
A: I did the same with SpaceFM and zzzFM, both have texts with the most recent revision from 01-08-2021. If Xecure is possible, please update pt-BR as well.
I appreciate everyone’s efforts to make antiX more and more translated.

Olá Xecure.
Implementei agora a alteração:
Thanks for all translations.
@Marcelocripe- please check my localization for typos, and do see the translation options I made
(muitos risos)
Also completely off topic- @Xecure- zzzfm’s ptpt localization had a couple of problems that I fixed- is it possible to include the updated translation in zzzfm’s package?

::Dear Xecure,
I installed your package “menu-manager-antix_0.1.4+contribs2_all.deb”
I tested the installation with antiX 21 (space-icewm)
Kernel: 5.10.27-antix.1-amd64-smp x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 10.2.1 parameters: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-5.10.27-antix.1-amd64-smp root=UUID=1d7606f5-9ae7-468e-a9c9-020aea14423a ro quiet Desktop: IceWM 2.7.0 vt: 7 dm: SLiM 1.3.6 Distro: antiX-bullseye-b1_x64-full Grup Yorum 11 June 2021 base: Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye)2 remarks;
1) I have modified the translation for one string at Transifex,
2) I can add or remove an item in the Personal Menu but icons are never showed ?
I made several tests with different icons, of different sizes and they do not appear in the menu. I have refreshed the menu several times but it doesn’t change anything. I did a reboot, but it doesn’t change anything either.
I don’t know what to do. I have the impression that it is not related to Menu Manager.I congratulate you for the beautiful “Menu Manager” in French.
You are magic…Best regards,

::Thanks for testing Wallon. I will have a look and see if I can figure out the icon issue. it is possible I touched a line in the code I shouldn’t have while adapting the strings for translation, breaking the basic icon functionality. Once this is fixed, I will update the translations and, if no other issues arise, send the changes to anticapitalista.
Thanks.

::2) I can add or remove an item in the Personal Menu but icons are never showed ?
I found the bug. It is in desktop-menu program. I will send a merge request to desktop-menu-antix on gitlab in a bit
I will wait a bit more for people to have a chance to change or correct some of the translations during the weekend before I send the changes of menu-manager to anticapitalista. If at any point in time someone needs a newer build to test, let me know.

::Dear Xecure,
I just reinstalled this morning the original version of menu-manager-antix version 0.1.3 (bullseye) and I have the same problem with antiX 21 (no icon displayed in the menu after a refresh)
For antix 19 Full, there is no problem.
Thanks for finding the solution.Sincerely,

::If you don’t mind, Wallon, (or anyone interested or have time, just to be sure that the fixes work not only for me), could you replace the contents of the /usr/local/bin/desktop-menu in antiX 21
sudo geany /usr/local/bin/desktop-menuspecifically, remove the lines from 120 to 121 and replace them with
icon = re.sub(r' ','\ ', icon) return iconThey look the same as the original, but the amount of empty space before each string of text is extremely important in the python language.
Save the file and try menu_manager again, to see if the icons now show after updating the personal menu.
If they don’t, I will check again from a clean system and try to figure it out.antiX Live system enthusiast.

Wallon
::Dear Xecure,
I have tested your solution with the original version of menu-manager-antix version 0.1.3 (bullseye) for antiX21.
Kernel: 5.10.27-antix.1-amd64-smp x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 10.2.1 parameters: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-5.10.27-antix.1-amd64-smp root=UUID=1d7606f5-9ae7-468e-a9c9-020aea14423a ro quiet Desktop: IceWM 2.7.0 vt: 7 dm: SLiM 1.3.6 Distro: antiX-bullseye-b1_x64-full Grup Yorum 11 June 2021 base: Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye)It works, I have the icons that appear in the personal menu.
How did you find the solution?
You really have to be a specialist to know that you have to add / remove spaces on a command line.
“Chapeau !” (in English = “Hat !”) as we say in French.
This expression dates back to the 17th century, when hats were worn as an essential part of clothing. In order to indicate his respect to a person by saying “Hello”, the man removed his hat. This is where the expression “to pull one’s hat” came from. Then, the expression simply shortened to the interjection “Chapeau!”, which indicates a certain mark of admiration.Sincerely,
Wallon

::Good to know it also works on your end.
It took some time to figure out and I was about to give up. Python language seems to use spaces/tabspace to delimit code blocks instead of (for example) curly braces “{}”, so I didn’t realize it right away.The changes are now merged and should be applied on the next update. Thanks for testing and confirming the fix, Wallon.

::Thanks for having done the work of updating and preparing the program to receive the translations, as well as creating the .deb packages for us to test.
Can we choose another program that is also a priority from the list in the topic https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/list-of-antix-programs-that-are-yet-to-be-translated/?
