Hey Everyone,
I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2018.
Holidays are always a fun time around our house with family and friends and plenty of great food and drink and some Holiday smoke.
So to all Happy Holidays.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2018.

::Hello All,
I hope everyone enjoyed an excellent Christmas Day as ours was postponed as several family members were under the weather with stomach virus which is the last thing I want to be around.
I pretty much just hung around my backyard shop and listened to old cbsrmt radio programs and took shots of Wild Turkey 101 throughout the day.
I also grilled a brisket on my charcoal grill with potatoes and ears of corn wrapped in foil and it was good.
One more calendar holiday and all is back to normal although I love the holidays I dislike all of the disruption caused by them.

::Wow the last day of 2017 can’t say its been a bad year although damn sure have had its bad times for me but it has also had some very good results and successes from most of the bad times which is good.
Yep I’m looking forward to the 2018 New Year as it is another time to make some needed changes in my crazy world which I have created.

::With the European and Asian regions now already entering into 2018 and the American continents anywhere from five to seven hours away from doing the same, I thank all of you for your roles in 2017 and years past to make the MEPIS, MX, and antiX distributions and their communities a very pleasant place to learn about and share our experiences with free and open software.
Anticapitalista, ever the “teacher” on and off the “job”, thank you for making an excellent distribution out of the work that Warren Woodford began a decade and a half ago = hard to believe, you’re already a couple of years into the SECOND decade of this work yourself, and you, along with the MANY who have helped over the years, have carried the original MEPIS tradition of quality, yet morphed it into something relevant to this decade we’re in, with a solid future of opportunity yet ahead of us.
To all who tirelessly share their assistance, code development, helpful suggestions, documentation, any help that contributes – it truly takes many to create this work. Thank you all, and a GREAT, happy, and successful 2018 ahead!
