::please do not misattribute me and don’t drag me into your disagreements.
Cannot understand the reason for your post….? Why on earth would I want to do this…?
AFAIK you do not post misinformation?Cheers

::Andy, in your post #95164 you included various “quotes”. One of these (((( search in page for “bloated” ))) incorrectly attributed techore as the author of a post mentioning “bloated”.
In another post here, you challenge Moddit to prove ungoogled chromium is safe.
“Is there any independent verification that it is google free? Any connections to google servers – hidden or otherwise?”
For the record, you come across as an ignoramus and / or a troll for asking this. Source code for the ungoogled chromium project is hosted on github, links to its code repository have been mentioned in several prior antixforum topics. Both of these suggest that you you are focused on hearing yourself talk and creating arguments, not interested in actually searching and reading to learn from the existing forum topics here.
Within yet another post in this topic, you typed a schizoid rant about the forum sending you download malware bombs ((( or somesuch similar nonsense ))). If you would look through the recent topics titles mentioning forum problems and browse the reports from multiple people, you would discover that you were not targeted and no the server wasn’t sending you “malware”.
Frankly, at this point I hope the moderators will indeed ban your account.

::Correct and I appreciate @iznit clarifying my statement.
@Andy, you misquoted and cite me as the speaker. Your response to me asking to not misattribute me was good for you sought clarification but you end with “AFAIK you do not post misinformation?” If you ended that sentence with a period, it would be reassuring that you felt I do not post misinformation but you ended with a question mark so it comes across as sarcastic.
I cannot tell if you are struggling to communicate well or just trying to start an argument.
We are all brothers and sisters here with a passion for antiX. Let’s treat each other well even when we disagree. Life is too short to be unkind and embroiled in petty arguments.

::incorrectly attributed techore as the author of a post
Humble apologies to Techore – yet I am at a loss to understand how this happened – I highlighted Moddit’s text and as usual clicked the Quote facility. I am not clever enough to frig the results 🙂 Could Mods say how this could have happened – thank you.
Both of these suggest that you you are focused on hearing yourself talk and creating arguments,
It should be clear that iznit’s vitriol is a mirror – as he has no criticism of Moddit’s use of this platform for deliberate misinformation. He is clearly fanning the flames and by doing so does himself no credit at all.

Please see screenshot of downloaded script, unrequested and of unknown purpose and content. Think this was the second such script of about eight before I powered off. Each time I moved one to Trash another appeared immediately. In powering off I am sure I took the correct course of action – what do our mods think – as we can all see from the screenshot below it came direct from our antixforum dot com.
you misquoted and cite me as the speaker.
Techore – I do hope you can recognise my error bore no malice whatsoever and all my post was directed at the deliberate misinformation and insinuation made by Moddit. For the record AFAIK you; Techore, have not given one piece of false or misleading information – it is my distinct pleasure to tell you this and all who may read it. Are we good?

🙂 I agree – Moddit was clearly spreading false or misleading information – I put a lot of effort for a 72 year old (life is too short) to ensure all my posts are factually correct and can back up with independent sources 🙂 so as to avoid any dispute 🙂

::Thank you, @Andy. Yes, we are good.
You are a valuable member of the antiX community and I hope you are open to me sharing my thoughts.
Others may have differing opinions to your own. It is fine for you to disagree and share why by providing supporting evidence or ask (not demand) the other party to support their statements. It is an opportunity to exchange information and knowledge to your benefit and the benefit of others by having an open discussion. It is not about winning an argument, right? My suggestion is to stop engaging when an impasse is reached otherwise further posts may be construed as arguing. The same is true by repeatedly posting the same information or cross-posting. Besides, your audience can draw their own conclusions from the supporting evidence you and the other party provided. The antiX community is an intelligent bunch of folks.
My rule of thumb for all communications is to be courteous and respectful and never resort to personal attacks. Personal attacks != intelligent discussion.
Regarding iznit comments. Doesn’t feel good to hear criticism, but iznit is highly intelligent and I, personally, would take to heart and reflect on any criticism iznit tossed at me.

It seems, he isn’t, anymore?
Back to Midori – the official topic here – I haven’t tried it for some time- I tried it in my 32bits laptop, some months ago but it refused to work (like some other browsers on that ageing machine). On my more powered machines, I tend to use firefox-esr, firefox, Librewolf and Brave…
