      Hi everyone,

It seems I did something wrong while experimenting with the look and feel, or maybe while updating certain antix packages. The applications I use on a daily basis seem to behave 100% normal, but some others that I don’t use very often are missing icons on their toolbars, which can be confusing at times. See attached images. I’ve shown only two, but there are others. I didn’t notice there was something wrong immediately, so I’m afraid I don’t remember precisely what I changed on my system.

Does anyone recognise this problem? My hope is I only need to install some missing icon theme, or perform some other small adjustment.

I’m running Antix 17, obviously, with testing repo’s, Arc-Evopro2 widgets, Faenza Cupertino Mini icon theme.

These programs are GTK3 (gnome based) apps.

When changing themes and icons, does it also change in the apps? (Apply first, then relaunch the apps).

If it doesn’t maybe there are missing packages. I would try installing another gnome based app and see if it pulls any missing packages, like.

        sudo apt install gnome-calculator

General Live Boot Parameters for antiX.

Thanks a lot, Xecure! I hadn’t made the link with GTK3, and that was enough to show me the way. Now I noticed immediately that I had to update the Adwaita icon theme. That fixed everything immediately. I’m generally slow on updates, on principle. I think that saves me many a headache, but sometimes – I have to admit – it gets me into trouble.
