mountbox-antix 0.1.6 does not work – antix-sid 17.1 net-install with Siduction repos
Reason: The file /usr/local/bin/mountbox is not installed.
I have purged mountbox and reinstalled it and have also tried the stretch version.
Could it be, that /usr/local/bin/mountbox is not included in the package?March 13, 2018 at 5:52 am #7747Forum Admin

I see. I’ll repackage and send to the repos. Good catch!
Package sent to repo – it should appear sometime soon.

If the version of the repackage is the same as the old one, how will the two be distinguished in Synaptic? (Haven’t seen any change in what is available there. But I don’t know how to recognize the repackage.)
Addendum: I went to the Github mountbox page and pulled the mountbox ececutable out of the download package and dropped it into /usr/local/bin. Works fine (so far).

If the version of the repackage is the same as the old one, how
apt-get –reinstall install mountbox-antix
right-click the line displaying mountbox-antix package name in top-right pane, choose “Mark for Reinstallation”, click “Apply”March 14, 2018 at 4:30 am #7788Member
To check the version is quite simple. Just go to the repo in your web-browser and check the date of ‘Last modified’.
http://repo.antixlinux.com/sid/pool/main/m/mountbox-antix/ or http://repo.antixlinux.com/stretch/pool/main/m/mountbox-antix/
Besides you can download mountbox-antix_0.1.6_all.deb, open it with xarchiver or file-roller and check the files in the deb-archive.March 15, 2018 at 1:18 am #7805Member
Thanks, all. It’s working fine now.March 16, 2018 at 8:41 am #7838Member
Thank you. With the upgrade from 0.1.6 to 0.1.7 Mountbox-antix is working again.
