      Hello everyone,

      To be able to use my internal disk, I edited the file /etc/udevil/udevil.conf and I enabled the following 2 lines;

      allowed_internal_devices = *
      allowed_internal_uuids = *

      Even in sudo mode, I never see my internal disk.

      What should I set in antiX to see the internal drive?
      I would like to have the UID of my internal drive to add it to my fstab.

      Here are the details of the “lsblk” command in sudo mode;
      I only see the 3 partitions of my USB key (sda)

      NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
      sda      8:0    1 28,7G  0 disk
      ├─sda1   8:1    1    1G  0 part [SWAP]
      ├─sda2   8:2    1   20G  0 part /
      └─sda3   8:3    1  7,7G  0 part /media/wallon/sda3-usb-USB_SanDisk_3.2G

      Best regards,
      Wallon

          In a terminal run this command and then attach ~/fdisk_layout.txt to your post
          sudo fdisk -x > ~/fdisk_layout.txt

          Its probably a good idea to also attach the rest of the system info, so also attach ~/inxi_output.txt
          inxi -Fxz > ~/inxi_output.txt

                Are you trying to mount /media/wallon/sda3-usb-USB_SanDisk_3.2G automatically at boot?

                Please attach a copy of /etc/fstab

                  Something that seems unusual is that your sda3 disk drive looks to be connected via USB, so maybe the system thinks it is removable, not internal. That might be why changing the internal drive mounting setting didn’t work.

                    Dear BobC,

                    My antiX 21 Full is installed on my USB key Sandisk_3.2G in the partition sda2 (Intallation done in Legacy mode (MBR) with the Grub on my USB key Sandisk 3.2G.

                    Please find my fstab. There is nothing about an internal SSD disk.

                      Maybe we can try adding it to fstab?

                        This is really strange because I have disabled;
                        1) secure boot,
                        2) fast boot (recommended) in Windows 10 Pro,
                        3) BitLocker.

                        I really don’t know why antiX doesn’t see my internal SSD drive.

                          It is already mounted at:

                          Try using zzzfm to open that folder

                            OH. you are saying that there is ANOTHER DISK DRIVE?

                            Linux only sees sda right now.

                            Check for errors when it boots, try
                            dmesg

                                As I bought this Dell Latitude Pro certified UBUNTU pc second hand from a company, I notice that the internal disk is mounted in RAID.

                                It says that I have to change the mount to AHCI and not RAID in the Bios.

                                But I don’t know if I can do that. Maybe Windows 10 Pro will not work anymore?

                                I have never changed the mount of an internal drive after a Windows installation.

                                What do you think?

                                Best regards,
                                Wallon

                                  Can you afford a backup drive?
