      Hello, I am setting my mouse to left hand side via:

      Control Centre -> Hardware -> Mouse Configuration
      Then Under “Button Order” : Im changing this setting to “Left Hand Layout”.

      Everything is working is fine. I am having a problem when I shutdown, and reboot the mouse goes back to right hand side.
      The attached image shows my mouse settings immediately boot, its says “Left hand Layout” but physically the mouse is right handed again I have to click and reapply the settings.

      $ echo $XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP
      icewm

      $ lsusb

        Hi donovan, on the screenshot it looks like loading the mouse configuration at startup is possibly not enabled.

        You can also look at
        control-centre > session > User Desktop session
        The startup file is opened

        Is ds-mouse outcommented like here?
        ## Enable Mouse Configuration at Startup
        ds-mouse -all &
