I downloaded Clementine using Synaptic it was added to menu, but does not start when clicking on the menu icon.
Was able to start clementine via a terminal, took a while (apx 20 seconds) but opened as I expected. Then terminal message popped up:

I was trying to reproduce your case of Clementine not starting. The same process – installed from Synaptic. Added properly to menu Multimedia and starts right away for me upon click on it.
Just for reference, I am using the fully updated antiX 21 both Live and Frugal. Is your negative experience with antiX traditionally installed? If so, then perhaps my trying to reproduce this issue is irrelevant.Live antiX Boot Options (Previously posted by Xecure):

::This is BETA 2 TESTING thread Please post non antiX curated application issues separately.
Hi namida12,
You will need to check all dependencys are correctly fulfilled,
The error indicates maybe mismatch player glib versions but unsure on that,- This reply was modified 1 year, 6 months ago by Brian Masinick.
