I used mps-youtube a month ago, and it worked great.
Today, I am getting an error message. If I make a selection, I get the same error message again.
I don’t really understand what to do. I am using version 2.7.1.Below is the error message:

sudo apt update && sudo apt-get install youtube-dl
then relaunch mps-youtube to determine whether the problem is resolved.

Latest youtube-dl should fix this. You need to wait for it to hit the repo.

It should hit the default antiX repo in a few hours or so, hopefully.

Now in default antiX repo.

I can’t seem to find it.
I went to Repo Manager and selected: Canada, Default antiX-http://repo.antixlinux.com
I checked Package Installer, but couldn’t find it.
I checked Synaptic (reloaded) and could only find version 2.7.1-2.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I was mistakenly trying to find the new version in Synaptic.
Then, it occurred to me that I could try sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
This worked perfectly and now mps-youtube is working fine.
I am excited to hook up the laptop to my stereo tuner, amp, and speakers and have access to all this music through mps-youtube and Poor Man’s Radio.

Yes, I did add the LA mirror, but I was looking for mps-youtube in Synaptic. Now, I see youtube-dl in synaptic. So, I could have used Synaptic if I had known how it was listed.
Well, this is a good learning experience which I will try to remember.
