Got this little unit free yesterday – not sure that I’d need to go with a really lightweight distro but thought I’d ask the community. It is a slower processor but it’s quad core, I guess I would like to have good touch screen support but other than that..

I have antiX 19.2 x64 full on a iMac (2009),a Mac mini (2007) antiX 19.1 386 full on it, and a toshiba netbook antiX 19.2 run it full on it and they all run great. I tried MX, it’s a nice system, but it has a little to much fluff for my needs and taste. The other thing is I’m still learning linux and I was watching a video (was just starting) and the recommend was made to find one system that worked for you and stick with it to help speed up the learning curve. I tried several other systems at the start of my journey but kept coming back to antiX. The forum is great, the people a very knowledgeable and helpful and most of all very patient with newbs like myself. My vote is to stay with antiX and enjoy. Either way good luck with you new (to you anyway) and have fun.
