@r_chase: Like my friend, @linuxdaddy:, you also have an eye for creativity, and I thank you for sharing your desktop image.

Looks OK to me. I used to bling like crazy. Now I gravitate towards simple defaults.

While I did not necessarily “go crazy”, in the past I was more likely to considerably alter the default display settings. These days, I tend to make choices that provide a balance between attractiveness and “easy on the eyes”. There is a LOT of REALLY good art, which I keep in order to periodically enjoy it, but then I have to set things back to a less colorful, (or at least less “bright”) background. This is all due to age and “dry eyes”.

I continue to welcome and encourage creativity nevertheless. Just because I can’t always have a bright or wildly creative background DOES NOT mean or imply that I don’t still enjoy and value the creativity it offers. I think we have some excellent artists among us, and many excellent software experts; I thank each person for their diversity of opinion, creativity and skill. I don’t have to personally use every feature to appreciate and value it. Thanks to each person who offers opinions, ideas, art, photography, humor, and software.

Cool, but some color saturation can make it look more amazing.

Looks good but something quite doesn’t fit here.
